These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HAM Insight Solutions, LLC ("Company," "we," "us") governing your use of Inlighti™ ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of a school or school district, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
Inlighti™ is an AI-powered financial literacy platform for students in grades 9–12. The Platform generates Investigations — guided readings, vocabulary lists, quizzes, discussion guides, homework assignments, and lesson plans — built from real, publicly available filings from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC EDGAR). The Platform is operated by HAM Insight Solutions, LLC and made available to schools and school districts under separate subscription agreements.
Investigation content is generated using the Anthropic Claude AI model and is grounded in the specific filing selected. We do not guarantee that every Investigation will meet every user's expectations.
Teachers and school or district administrators may access the Platform using accounts created by an authorized school or district administrator. Students access assigned Investigations using a class code issued by their teacher.
The Platform is designed for students in grades 9–12. Students access the Platform through their school's institutional account under the institutional consent model.
You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose — generating and using Investigations and related instructional materials. You agree NOT to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user or institution that violates these Terms without prior notice.
Investigations and instructional materials generated by Inlighti™ are created by an artificial intelligence model, grounded in the real SEC filing selected for that Investigation. You acknowledge that:

The Platform, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by HAM Insight Solutions, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
The Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use generated Investigations and materials for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. You may print or share individual materials for classroom use. You may not use generated materials for commercial purposes or represent them as human-authored without disclosure.
Company or filing selections, grade-level settings, and other inputs you provide remain your property. By submitting inputs, you grant us a limited license to use them solely to generate your Investigation and improve our content and safety systems.
Access to Inlighti™ for schools and school districts is provided under separate subscription agreements. Individual teacher and student access is provided at no charge as part of the institution's subscription. There are no direct fees charged to teachers or students.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will always be appropriate for your specific needs. Investigation generation depends on third-party services and may be unavailable during outages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HAM Insight Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or harm to reputation.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by your institution for the Platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HAM Insight Solutions, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion. Institutions may terminate their subscription in accordance with their subscription agreement.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify institutional administrators of material changes by email or Platform notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration in New York, New York, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
